Job Description
*We are seeking a Senior Program Business Manager (Consultant) to support our enterprise client's artificial intelligence team. This is a high‑impact, non‑traditional Business Manager role designed for a strategic operator who can step into ambiguity, self‑onboard quickly, and begin delivering value immediately.
This role goes beyond standard business operations and administration. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted thought partner to senior stakeholders, helping drive clarity, decision‑making, and momentum across a fast‑moving, AI‑focused environment. The team is looking for someone interested in building a longer‑term partnership to create continuity, deepen impact, and help grow our client's footprint in this space over time.
This is a contract opportunity that has been confirmed until June 30th, 2026 (with a strong possibility of extending beyond that), pending addition budget approval and performance.
Work location: Fully remote*
As a Senior Program Business Manager (Consultant) for AG Consulting Partners, a typical day might include the following:
- Operate as a strategic business partner to senior leaders within the AI Marketing teams
- Drive clarity and forward progress in ambiguous, fast‑evolving environments by identifying gaps, surfacing insights, and proposing solutions
- Lead and support high‑visibility initiatives, ensuring alignment across stakeholders without relying on formal authority
- Develop and refine executive‑level content, including strategic presentations, leadership readouts, and materials for internal and external speaking engagements
- Support strategic framing and storytelling related to Copilot, AI initiatives, and the broader competitive AI landscape
- Read the room effectively and contribute with confidence in senior‑level discussions, offering thoughtful perspectives and recommendations
- Self‑onboard quickly with minimal hand‑holding, proactively building context and relationships across the organization
- Demonstrate strong ownership, accountability, and follow‑through across multiple workstreams
This job is for you if:
- You thrive on solving complex problems. You enjoy thinking outside the box, approaching challenges with creativity, and finding innovative solutions. If an answer isn't immediately clear, you dig deeper and explore new perspectives until you find the right approach.
- You are highly strategic and know when to escalate. You can assess situations, understand what actions you can take, and recognize when a decision needs to be escalated to your executive client—always ensuring the right issues reach the right level at the right time.
- You build strong relationships with executive clients. You understand the importance of trust, credibility, and proactive support in working closely with executive leaders. You anticipate their needs and create a seamless partnership that enables them to focus on high-impact priorities.
- You excel in high-pressure situations. You remain calm and solutions-oriented, even in fast-moving or ambiguous environments. You embrace challenges as opportunities to bring structure and clarity.
- You influence without authority. You hold others accountable and help drive decision-making, even when you're not the final decision-maker. You understand how to guide stakeholders toward alignment and action.
- You are detail-oriented and take pride in getting things right. Whether managing key deliverables, coordinating executive briefings, or preparing strategic presentations, you ensure everything is accurate, polished, and impactful.
- You're a lifelong learner. You approach every situation as an opportunity to expand your knowledge and improve your approach. You're open to feedback and continuously refine your skills to stay ahead.
