Key Responsibilities
Serve as an overflow recruiter and own the recruiting life cycle when needed.
Administer all benefits and support in open enrollment company-wide.
Administer onboarding and offboarding processes for US hires and international contractors.
Administer all official Human Resources documents, ensuring compliance with state and federal posting laws.
Manage and maintain our records as they pertain to local state taxes, including unemployment and withholding.
Maintain personnel records, including current job descriptions and role reassignment, exempt/nonexempt status, org chart, attendance records, paid time-off, OT, employee performance evaluations, salary and bonus adjustments/increases.
Run our bi-weekly Contractor Payroll and serve as overflow for US Payroll.
Assist with our Learning & Development program's content creation (including videos, images, and other learning assets) and annual audit of lessons within our internal LMS.
Work alongside the People Success team, contributing to our Culture Crew program.
Help facilitate general communications related to L&D, People Operations, or Culture Crew-related elements.
Respond to employee and contractor questions quickly and with professionalism.

Job Description


Hennessey Digital, a leading search engine optimization (SEO) and digital marketing agency in North America, is seeking a highly organized, self-motivated Human Resources Generalist to join its team. The ideal candidate for this role is a consummate team player who is confident, organized, self-driven, has a problem-solving mindset, and has at least one (1) year of human resources experience.


This is an exciting time in our company’s evolution. Since we’re a rapidly growing company, it’s important that you have an entrepreneurial attitude, a mindset that embraces change, and an ability to manage/prioritize multiple concurrent projects.


The desired candidate will be organized and detail-oriented, as well as positive, have friendly communication skills, and be comfortable working remotely.


We are a fully remote and highly collaborative team of digital marketing thought leaders located all over the country, and we’re looking for a thoughtful team member who can help us attract and retain some of the brightest minds in the digital marketing industry. This position will report directly to the People Success Manager.


Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of recruiting and Human Resources experience
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Paylocity, and NetSuite, or other backend systems, strongly preferred
  • Positive and professional attitude.
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment
  • Confidence in dealing with people at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to organize a daily workload of priorities
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills

Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience


Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000
