Job Description

For 27 years, InterCoastal Net Designs has been the agency vacation rental companies trust to build their websites and grow their online visibility. We're not generalists throwing spaghetti at every industry — we live and breathe vacation rentals, and our clients feel that difference every single month.

We're looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist who genuinely geeks out over search rankings, knows their way around a Google Ads account, and actually wants to understand the businesses they're helping grow.

This isn't a "set it and forget it" kind of role. You'll own SEO and PPC strategy across a portfolio of vacation rental clients, dig into the data, and have real conversations with real people about what's working and what's next. If you're the type who gets quietly excited when a keyword jumps from page 2 to page 1, you'll fit in here.

What you'll own:

  • Developing and executing SEO strategies that move the needle — we're talking title tags, content, on-page optimization, technical audits, the whole playbook, not just blog posts nobody reads
  • Building, managing, and optimizing Google Ads campaigns focused on new customer acquisition, not just burning budget on branded terms. Ever spent $50,000+ a month of clients' money? Let's talk.
  • Digging into analytics to figure out what's actually driving bookings, not just traffic
  • Presenting results and strategy to clients in plain English — they don't need a lecture on quality scores, they need to know what's working
  • Collaborating with our internal team to evaluate sites and help shape new client proposals

What we're looking for:

  • 2+ years of hands-on SEO and/or PPC experience — agency-side experience is a big plus
  • You know your way around Google Analytics (GA4), Google Ads, Google Search Console, and at least a couple of tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz
  • Strong enough communication skills that clients actually look forward to your calls
  • An analytical brain that doesn't just pull reports — it reads them and acts on them
  • Self-directed and organized enough to manage multiple clients without things falling through the cracks
  • Vacation rental industry knowledge is a bonus, but not required — we'll teach you what you need to know

What we offer:

  • Full-time, fully remote, flexible schedule, no corporate over-the-shoulder-peeking.
  • A small, tight team where you'll actually matter — not a number in a 200-person department
  • 27 years of industry knowledge to learn from, and clients who've been with us for years because we deliver
  • Compensation based on experience.

We're not expecting a unicorn. We're expecting someone hungry to learn, sharp enough to adapt, and honest enough to say when something isn't working.

If you mention "rubber ducky" when you reach out, you get bonus points. Yes, really. We just want to know you actually read this far.

The vibe I went for: less job description, more "here's what your life actually looks like here." The bullet items now have some texture to them instead of just restating the job title back at you. Let me know what lands and what doesn't.
