Job Description
Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager / Technical Sales Engineer required to join a leading water treatment consultancy.
The successful Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager / Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing new business across the UK, selling water treatment solutions including wastewater treatment systems, liquid containment solutions, water filtration systems, stormwater management, industrial process water treatment, preventative maintenance & service plans, and water quality monitoring & testing services. Full product training provided.
The successful Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager / Technical Sales Engineer will ideally have proven sales experience in technical sales within water treatment / management, including liquid containment, water treatment, wastewater systems, or transferable sectors such as industrial Filtration / separation equipment, mechanical systems, environmental services, or infrastructure solutions.
Package
- £65,000 - £75,000 basic pay, plus up to £25,000 in Commission and Bonuses

Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager / Technical Sales Engineer Role
- Proactively developing new business across the UK, selling water treatment solutions including wastewater treatment systems, liquid containment solutions, water filtration systems, stormwater management, industrial process water treatment, preventative maintenance & service plans, and water quality monitoring & testing services. Full product training provided.
- Manage relationships for accounts for liquid containment products, including corrugated steel water tanks, modular wastewater treatment systems, geomembrane solutions, and related components.
- Generate quotations, manage enquiries, close orders, and maintain accurate CRM records.
- Collaborate closely with technical and design teams to develop tailored client solutions.
- Provide responsive troubleshooting and technical support to clients.
- This is a fully remote role covering the whole of the UK.

Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager / Technical Sales Engineer Requirements
- Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Representative, or similar within the water treatment sectors.
- Experience selling, servicing, or managing accounts within engineering related to water treatment, including wastewater systems, liquid containment, pumps, valves, filtration systems, irrigation systems, or similar products. Full product training provided."
- A technical engineering qualification, an apprentice trained, HNC, HND or a degree would be advantageous.
- Have a strong working knowledge of Legionella control solutions.
- Strong ability to develop bespoke technical solutions for client needs.
- Full UK driving licence required.
