Akkodis is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer for a Direct Hire position with a client located in Pittsburgh, PA (relocation open for strong candidate). Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry.
Salary Range: $130,000/yearly to $150,000/yearly (The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Senior Full Stack Engineer job responsibilities include:
- Strong backend development experience with Java (21+)
- Expertise in Spring Boot (3.5 preferred)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (primary cloud platform)
- Experience designing cross-region failover & resilient systems
- Exposure to AWS or GCP is a plus
- Experience working with Oracle databases
- Familiarity with Snowflake or Databricks is a plus
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g., FedRAMP or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Secure coding practices, Encryption (symmetric vs. asymmetric), System-level security design & trade-offs
- Hands-on experience using AI tools in development workflows, including Prompt engineering for code generation, Automated test creation & validation and Debugging and reviewing AI-generated code

Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong expertise in Java & Spring Boot
- Proven experience building scalable distributed systems
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture (Azure preferred)
- Experience with performance optimization & system reliability
