Senior Staff Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Compute

100% Remote

As a Senior Staff Engineer on the Cloud Infrastructure Compute team, you'll be the technical leader for the lifecycle management of our Kubernetes compute platform. You will enable the Cloud Infrastructure organization to work efficiently and effectively by enhancing all aspects of the engineering experience.

A Typical Day:

Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects.

Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers.

Deliver enhancements that drive the cost efficiency of our cloud platform.

Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines.

Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

Contribute to the multi-year strategy to evolve client's Cloud Platform

Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance the compute platform.

Your Expertise:

BS, our Masters in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience

10+ years of relevant work experience in infrastructure

4+ years of expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their infrastructure as a service offering (e.g. EC2).

Experience setting technical direction, planning, and successfully executing on large projects spanning multiple teams

Kubernetes Experience is required.

Istio/Envoy Experience is preferred.
