As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in building scalable, maintainable software systems. You’ll primarily focus on backend development using Ruby/Rails, while also contributing to frontend development when needed. You'll collaborate across teams to deliver impactful features that enhance the end-user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software engineering using Ruby on Rails, React, and TypeScript
- Deliver high-quality code across the stack, from backend services to user-facing components
- Work closely with product, design, and operational teams to shape core functionality
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a high-performing engineering culture
- Write clear technical documentation and specifications
- Help define engineering best practices and influence team values and workflows

We Are Looking For:
- 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience (particularly Ruby on Rails)
- Strong understanding of software design, system architecture, and scalable APIs
- Willingness to work across the stack when needed: AWS, React, TypeScript, Next
- Proven skills delivering production-ready software in a start-up SaaS environment
- Curiosity to understand the Insurtech and AI industry with a desire to drive change
