Founding Deployment Engineer

About the Role

As a Founding Deployment Engineer, you will work directly with the founders to deploy prototypes with early customers, iterating rapidly to meet their specific operational needs. This role focuses on bridging the gap between general product capabilities and bespoke customer requirements, often in high-stakes, resource-constrained environments. Frequent travel to customer sites is expected.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deploy prototypes and bespoke solutions with early customers, gathering real-world feedback.
• Rapidly iterate on product deployments to meet operational needs under pressure.
• Work hands-on with audio streaming and real-time voice systems.
• Translate complex technical behaviour into plain language for non-technical stakeholders.
• Navigate ambiguous requirements and high-pressure situations with pragmatism and autonomy.

What We're Looking For

• Software engineering generalist with a product mindset and hands-on experience across the stack.
• Experience implementing AI systems in resource-constrained or operationally sensitive environments.
• Comfortable working with audio processing and low-latency systems.

• Clear technical communication skills, especially in high-stakes environments.
• Familiarity with armed forces or police environments is a strong advantage.
• High tolerance for ambiguity and rapid problem-solving under incomplete briefs.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with military or emergency services deployments.
• Background in operational AI, audio systems, or low-latency streaming technologies.

Compensation & Benefits

• €70,000 – €110,000 salary depending on experience.
• Meaningful equity as a founding team member.
• Relocation support available.
• Frequent travel to customer sites as part of the role.
