Product Manager - AI & Robotics Solutions

Nabat is a climate-tech startup based in the UAE using advanced technology to protect and restore natural ecosystems with precision and scale! We operate at the intersection of ecological & environmental sciences, GIS, AI, and robotics. Our mission is to enable data-driven, science-backed ecosystem management and restoration at the speed and scale necessary to address the critical challenges of climate change, deforestation, land erosion, and biodiversity loss. Our comprehensive solution - consisting of ecosystem management software, precision aerial seeding drones, AI & ecological models, and restoration services - is already being used to plant millions of mangroves in the UAE. But we’re just getting started, as we build our platform to serve the needs of coastal, marine and arid ecosystems around the world.

What is the role?

Our Product Manager will imagine, design and lead the development of AI & Robotics solutions that create a positive impact on the planet, and deliver value to our end-users.

This role will lead Product efforts for developing industry-leading ecosystem solutions (AI software, robotics) using cutting-edge research breakthroughs.

As a Product Manager, you will continuously shape, own, and deliver on our ambitious product roadmap. Starting from user needs, and a deep understanding of AI & robotics technologies and the ecosystem in which we operate, you will rally x-fn teams around a compelling shared vision, and underlying product plan and drive its execution. You’ll focus deeply on technology, early-stage product development, cross-functional leadership, and enabling partnerships to have maximal impact. Operating with scale and speed, our world-class cross-functional team is just getting started and as a core member of the founding team, you will have the opportunity to shape it!

Your responsibilities will include:

• Work entrepreneurially alongside our outstanding AI and Robotics researchers, engineers, and other cross-functional experts to identify new product and feature opportunities before incubating, launching, and scaling them in close collaboration with partners
• Develop product requirements for research products to scale; Evangelize the technology
• Identify new high-potential technologies that could have a groundbreaking impact on the world

• Develop technology vision; build the case to invest in new product development.
• Develop close relationships at the executive and working levels with partner teams to deeply understand their top priorities and how our research can help accelerate their existing products in the B2B space
• Identify new opportunities for partnerships that are aligned with our research and partner team goals around building AI-powered products for B2B customers and partners

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience
• Product Management experience; crafting strategic product roadmaps from conception to launch and work with cross-functional teams
• Track record of figuring out product market fit
• Experience in early-stage and startup environments
• A passion for AI and/or Robotics

Preferred experience (it would be awesome if you also had these):

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Engineering or related technical field
• B2B Product Management experience
• Experience in AI for ecosystem restoration of farm management
• Strong communication skills
