Creative Lead — Fashion & Social Content | AI-Driven Team | Europe-Based, Remote

We need a creative visionary who sets the direction — and isn't afraid to step in front of the camera too.


You'll be the creative mind behind our brands across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Snapchat. You'll define the vision, develop concepts, and direct a team of UGC creators and content producers who handle the day-to-day shooting and editing. But you're not just a strategist — you're also comfortable being on camera yourself when the content calls for it. Shopping Event VIP is a fast-growing Belgian platform at the intersection of fashion, events, and e-commerce. We organize exclusive shopping events where top fashion brands offer significant discounts — both at physical pop-up locations and online. Think of us as the bridge between premium fashion brands and deal-savvy shoppers who want quality at the best price.


Where we are today: Our home base is Belgium (shoppingeventvip.be), where we run dozens of events per year with brands shoppers love. We have a loyal community, a proven model, and real traction.


Where we're going: We're scaling internationally — launching dedicated platforms for France (.fr), the Netherlands (.nl), and Germany (.de) by late 2026, with more European countries to follow. Each market gets its own localized experience. On top of that, we're bringing our consumer apps for iOS and Android to market — giving shoppers a personal deal-finding companion in their pocket. This is a ground-floor moment: you'll help shape how millions of new users across Europe discover us.


How we work: Our marketing team is AI-augmented. We've built an internal knowledge system powered by Ad Creative Academy (adcreativeacademy.com) — 83 documents and 73 video transcripts fully indexed into an AI agent you'll interact with daily via Slack. Ask it anything: "What hooks work best for fashion Reels?", "Show me top-performing ad formats this week", "What does the Academy say about UGC for TikTok?" — and get instant, cited answers cross-referenced with our live campaign performance data.


You won't be guessing what works. You'll know — and then create it.



WHAT YOU'LL DO

→ Own the content calendar across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Snapchat

→ Set the creative direction for platform-native content — video-first (Reels, TikToks, Shorts, Stories), but also carousels, static posts, and written content for LinkedIn

→ Direct the team — brief and manage UGC creators and content producers on shooting, editing, and execution

→ Be on camera when it counts — you're comfortable showing your face for talking-head videos, behind-the-scenes, and brand storytelling moments

→ Apply proven creative frameworks from Ad Creative Academy: hook strategy, scroll-stopping first frames, platform-specific formats, UGC techniques, copy structures

→ Use our AI tools daily — query our Slack-based creative knowledge bot, pull performance insights, let data sharpen your creative instincts

→ Bridge organic and paid — collaborate on ad creatives so organic content and paid campaigns reinforce each other

→ Drive European expansion creatively — we're scaling from Belgium, France, and the Netherlands to the rest of Europe. You'll adapt content strategies for new markets as we enter them

→ Launch our consumer apps — own the creative strategy to bring our iOS and Android apps to market: App Store/Play Store assets, launch campaigns, app-focused content, and download-driving creatives

→ Research competitor creatives — stay on top of what other fashion and e-commerce brands are doing across platforms, spot trends early, and turn insights into action

→ Run weekly creative reviews — analyze what performed, why, and what to test next, informed by real performance data



WHAT YOU BRING

Must-haves:


→ A portfolio showing creative direction and/or content you've been involved in across multiple platforms (links required)

→ Confident and natural on camera — we need to see you in action

→ Deep understanding of what makes content perform: hooks, retention curves, CTAs, platform algorithms

→ Strong creative vision for short-form video (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts)

→ Ability to lead and brief a team of creators on execution

→ Experience with AI workflows and tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Midjourney, or similar) — you already use AI in your creative process, not just curious about it

→ Eagerness to learn and apply the Ad Creative Academy methodology — we give you full access to the platform plus AI-powered tools that surface insights on demand

→ Genuine passion for fashion — you follow trends, understand the industry, and it shows in your work

→ Data-curious mindset — you let performance metrics inform your next creative move, not just gut feeling

→ Europe-based preferred (timezone overlap with our Belgian team), but we're open to other locations for the right person


Nice-to-haves:


→ Experience with paid social / performance marketing (Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads)

→ Multilingual: Dutch and/or French alongside English (valuable for our core BE/FR/NL markets)

→ Experience in e-commerce or events

→ Experience with app marketing / app launch campaigns (ASO, app install creatives)

→ Experience managing or directing content creators / UGC teams

DETAILS
