PROJECT
We are building an engineering platform that enables GitHub Copilot Custom Agents to support developers across the entire SDLC – including compliance, security, architecture governance, and quality standards.
This role focuses on building the data, context, and automation backbone that allows Copilot agents to operate with deep understanding of the engineering environment and development workflows.
This is not an AI model development role – this is a platform, data, and workflow engineering role.
YOU WILL
- Design and build the technical foundation for GitHub Copilot Custom Agents used across the SDLC
- Build and maintain MCP servers and context infrastructure exposing engineering data to Copilot agents
- Develop lightweight RAG pipelines and structured developer context databases (code metadata, requirements, architecture, traceability, compliance data)
- Build and maintain Copilot Custom Agents including skills, tools, hooks, event handlers, and integrations with internal systems
- Implement automated workflows around DevSecOps, code quality, architecture governance, security and compliance scanning, and traceability validation
- Integrate Copilot agents with VS Code, GitHub repositories, PR workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering/security tooling
- Build data pipelines, APIs, and integrations supporting SDLC automation and developer productivity
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, compliance, and engineering teams to embed SDLC standards into developer workflows
- Own solutions end-to-end: design, build, test, validate, and iterate
