As a Java Developer, API Integrations and Payments, you will work on the systems that connect merchants, PSPs, and payment methods. This is a backend role close to production, where reliability, timing, and correctness matter every day.

PaymentIQ builds the infrastructure behind online gaming and ecommerce platforms across Europe. Instead of merchants integrating with every payment provider themselves, they integrate once with PaymentIQ and gain access to hundreds of providers, payment methods, and markets.
The role

This is not greenfield development. You will work in a complex environment with legacy systems, multiple integrations, and real world constraints. Around 50 percent of your time is spent on incidents and support, 30 percent on new integrations, and 20 percent on improvements.
You will work directly with APIs, callbacks, provider documentation, certifications, and production issues. You will need to understand where problems occur in a transaction flow and fix them without breaking other parts of the system.
This role suits engineers who like complexity, ownership, and working on systems that are business critical.
