A rapidly scaling business is looking for its first Head of AI - a greenfield role with no legacy systems and no existing team. You'll have the chance to build the AI function from scratch and directly influence business-critical decisions.

We're after a hands-on AI leader who can define strategy, build frameworks and tools for engineers, and mentor a high-impact team. This isn't about hype or chatbots - it's about practical, responsible AI that delivers ROI and supports decisions across operations, HR, sales, and tech.

You'll:

• Lead design, architecture, and implementation of AI capabilities from the ground up
• Build AI frameworks and toolchains used daily by engineers
• Mentor and grow the initial AI/ML team
• Deliver secure, scalable, responsible AI systems with human oversight
• Collaborate with leadership to integrate AI across the business
• Evaluate emerging AI techniques to maintain best-in-class practices

You are:

• A mid-career AI leader with hands-on experience building AI/ML systems and frameworks
• Skilled in responsible AI, human-in-the-loop systems, governance, and scalable architectures
• Able to translate strategy into practical execution
• Comfortable in fast-moving, high-growth environments
• A strong communicator and collaborator across technical and business teams
