Senior IAM/PAM Engineer

We have a contract to hire opportunity for a senior IAM/PAM engineer with 5–7 years of experience, bringing deep expertise in CyberArk Conjur, Active Directory, and identity lifecycle management, along with a strong foundation in cloud security and automation using tools like PowerShell, Python, or Bash. They are both hands-on and strategic—capable of designing, implementing, and supporting scalable IAM solutions while leading technical discussions and driving best practices across teams. This individual communicates effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, partners closely with application and security teams, and demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving, and project leadership skills in a fast-paced enterprise environment. 100% Remote.

MUST HAVES:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5-7+ years’ experience
• CyberArk Conjur 2-3 years
• Active Directory 3-5 years
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory
• Good understanding of networking and DR/HA.
• Scripting/coding knowledge with PowerShell, Python, or Bash and be a strong proponent of automation
• Understanding of IAM concepts and Identity lifecycle as well as Structured Agile Framework.

Preferred:

• Experience leading team discussions
• Experience with AWS/Kubernetes/Docker
• Ability to communicate with the application development teams
• Certifications in CyberArk Defender, Sentry or Guardian, CyberArk Conjur, CompTia Security +,

About this Role:

• Work with application teams internally to onboard successfully into Conjur, as well as the other possible fully managed CyberArk offerings.

Job Description:

Position Purpose:

Leads the Identity and Access Management systems and solutions. Performs review of system, user, and administrative roles and accounts and to understand access levels for enterprise applications and platforms. Designs, builds, tests, and maintains scalable and stable off-the-shelf software applications or custom builds technology software solutions to meet technical business identity access needs. Leads cross functional teams through the entire implementation process.

Education/Experience:

A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and requires 5 – 7 years of related experience.

Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
