Job Description

Based in Cambridge, this is an opportunity for an ISA Architect to join a fascinating AI Semiconductor company.


In this role the ISA (Instruction Set Architecture) Architect will join a newly-created team and be defining next-generation computing accelerators for next generation neural network accelerators for edge devices and datacenters. This is a completely new, green-field area, hence it’s a chance to join as one of the early hires and really make your mark on this emerging new technology.


The successful ISA Architect will come either from a solid industrial or research background, and have a real passion for machine learning / AI / high performance computing. For this role candidates need to be familiar with Instruction Set Architecture (ISA) and assembly code, with strong knowledge of either:


Computer architecture (CPU / GPU), dataflow architecture, ISA design

OR – AI acceleration, machine learning, dataflow architecture, or Neural Processing Unit (NPU)
