As a Senior Corporate Security Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that technology solutions are secure, scalable, and resilient by design. You will work alongside IT and systems teams to embed security best practices across workstations, SaaS applications, and identity systems. This role emphasizes proactive risk mitigation, incident response, and the creation of secure processes that empower the organization to operate safely. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, mentor colleagues, and drive security-first culture while collaborating across multiple teams. The position offers a fully remote environment, autonomy in decision-making, and the opportunity to influence security strategy at a company-wide level. Your work will directly strengthen the security posture of the organization while fostering continuous improvement and innovation.
Accountabilities
- Design and implement secure processes for IT workflows, shifting from reactive to proactive security measures
- Develop and maintain security configurations for workstations (Windows/macOS), mobile devices, and SaaS applications
- Manage and optimize email security systems to prevent phishing, spam, and malware attacks
- Oversee identity and access controls, including Entra ID configuration, MFA enforcement, and least-privilege access
- Conduct security reviews for new and existing SaaS integrations and provide guidance for secure implementation
- Serve as a technical escalation point for internal security incidents, analyzing potential compromises and coordinating remediation
- Mentor IT teams and business system support staff on security best practices, documentation, and knowledge sharing
- 5+ years of experience in Information Security or IT Engineering, with strong expertise in remote workforce security and system hardening
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant security certifications (CISSP, GIAC), or equivalent experience
- Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, SaaS security, and identity management integrations
- Experience securing cloud-based and SaaS ecosystems, including Google Workspace, Slack, Salesforce, or similar
- Strong documentation skills and ability to thrive in fully remote, cross-functional environments
- Excellent communication skills, capable of mentoring peers and translating complex security concepts clearly
- Proven experience leading security projects from design to full deployment while collaborating with multiple stakeholders
