Position Overview

For our project of Electronic Gates, we are searching for an experienced Integration, Verification, Validation, and Qualification Engineer. eGates combines expertise in document verification and passenger biometric authentication with an optimized and modular hardware solution to automate border control.

We are looking for Spanish-speaking candidates (fluent level enabling full communication with clients in the Spanish public sector), ideally native speakers if possible. The candidate will be working for a team based in Spain, with flexible arrangements, whether it means fixed-time relocation or periodical business trips.

Job Responsibilities

• Possible contribution to specification workshops

• Review and understanding of Solution Design & architecture, on which validation strategy and the campaign will be established

• Review and understanding of IT design, implementation, and support (BOM, system, DB, network)

• Testing of customization of R&D products to deliver projects

• Testing on solution level end-to-end as well as possibly contributing to component-level testing

• Testing, validation, and integration of technical solutions (Functional, security, HA, performance, etc.), including possible usage of automation

• Customer integration operations (DB migration, integration with existing solutions)

• Cloud deployment and pipeline preparation for automatic gradual deployment

• Prepare, lead, and guarantee Customer acceptance (FAT, SAT, dry run, pilot, etc.)

• Contribute to project security assessment (Risk analysis, vulnerabilities scan, penetration tests, etc.)

• Contribution and verification of documentation (Guides: development/technical documentation, installation, etc.)

• Customer training

• L3 maintenance and support (HW, SW, and IT) along with CR follow-up

• Participation in communities: Quality, Security, Issuance

Job Requirements

• Integration of software developed in-house as per defined high-level specification as well as detailed level specification

• Strong knowledge of Windows

• Experience in Application Servers / Web Servers (e.g., Tomcat, Wildfly), manual or automated application deployment and configuration is a major advantage

• Experience in SQL databases or similar databases is an advantage

• Knowledge of web technologies and securing them is an advantage

• Validation experience and use cases validation on hardware is an advantage

• Experience in writing Acceptance Plan, user guide, and training material is a plus

• Experience in the Jira ticketing tool is a plus
