To support our rapid expansion, we are looking for an experienced Game Director who will lead the creative and production vision of our game portfolio and drive the development of successful iGaming titles.

Job Overview

The Game Director is responsible for defining and driving the creative vision, gameplay design, and overall direction of the company’s casino game portfolio. This role ensures that all games deliver strong player engagement, high-quality design, and commercial success.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in iGaming game development, particularly slot or casino games, and has successfully led teams to deliver games for international markets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Game Vision & Creative Direction

Define and drive the creative vision and design direction for the company’s iGaming portfolio.

Ensure all games deliver engaging gameplay, strong retention mechanics, and appealing visual identity.

Lead the conceptualization of new casino game ideas and innovative features.

2. Game Design Leadership

Oversee the game design team and ensure high-quality game mechanics, math models, and gameplay experience.

Guide the development of slot games, table games, or other casino game formats

Review and approve game concepts, features, and gameplay mechanics.

3. Product & Market Strategy

Analyze player behavior, market trends, and competitor games to inform game strategy.

Ensure games are designed with player engagement, monetization, and retention in mind.

Work closely with product teams to align game development with business goals.

4. Cross-Team Collaboration

Collaborate with Art Directors, Producers, Developers, and Product Managers throughout the game development lifecycle.

Ensure smooth coordination between design, art, animation, and engineering teams.

Provide guidance to ensure the final product meets the creative vision.

5. Development Oversight

Oversee the full game development lifecycle, from concept to release.

Ensure games are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

Support production teams in resolving design and gameplay challenges.

6. Team Leadership & Mentorship

Lead, mentor, and develop game designers and creative teams.

Build a culture of innovation, creativity, and collaboration.

Help recruit and grow the design team as the company scales.

Requirements

1. Experience

8+ years of experience in game design or game direction within the iGaming industry.

Proven experience leading the development of successful casino or slot games.

Experience working in a Game Director, Lead Game Designer, or similar senior creative role.

2. Skills

Deep understanding of casino game mechanics, player engagement strategies, and game balance.

Strong leadership and creative direction skills.

Ability to translate creative ideas into successful commercial products.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional environment.

3. Preferred

Experience working in international iGaming studios.

Strong understanding of slot math models and RTP balancing.

Experience launching games across multiple regulated markets.

Experience working with distributed or global development teams.
