Job Description
Solution Architect | £60,000 - £68,000
We're working with a mission-driven UK national charity dedicated to transforming lives on this exciting opportunity. As the organization's first-ever Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in a newly formed architecture function, bridging the gap between business vision and technical execution to drive meaningful social impact.
This is a rare chance to shape the architectural landscape of a major non-profit from the ground up. You’ll be working alongside the Head of Enterprise Architecture, focusing on designing scalable, cloud-centric systems that ensure the charity can continue its vital work with modern, secure, and efficient technology across Data, Infrastructure, and Software domains.
The Role
- Lead the design and implementation of high-performance technology solutions across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring full alignment with the charity’s strategic objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the Data Architect and Business Architect to translate complex organizational requirements into robust technical blueprints and end-to-end designs.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership to development teams throughout the project lifecycle, promoting best practices in software engineering and system integration.
- Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks while evaluating emerging technologies (SaaS, Cloud, Security) to enhance organizational performance and data integrity.
- Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation and roadmaps to ensure long-term system sustainability and adherence to industry standards like TOGAF.
