Job Title – Guidewire Consultant (BA / Developer / IM / Lead – ClaimCenter & PolicyCenter, Cloud)

Job Location – Sydney (Across Australia and other country candidates are also eligible to apply)

Experience :

• 1–2 years (Junior IM – Entry Level) OR
• 3–5 years (IM) OR
• 5–10+ years (BA/Developer/Lead) in Guidewire

Employment Type – Contract

Role Summary

We are hiring Guidewire professionals across multiple levels (Junior IM, IM, Developer, Business Analyst, and Lead) to support end-to-end implementation, configuration, development, and cloud transformation of Guidewire ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter solutions within the P&C insurance domain. This role involves close collaboration with business and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-quality insurance platforms on Guidewire Cloud and related ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions
• Configure and develop Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter / ClaimCenter) including workflows, rules, entities, and UI (PCF)
• Support and deliver end-to-end implementations, enhancements, and cloud migrations (Guidewire Cloud / AWS / Azure)
• Develop and integrate APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), messaging, and external systems
• Assist in configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation (for Junior IM roles)
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, UAT, release cycles)
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, developers, and QA teams
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and provide production support
• Create documentation (BRD/FRD, user stories, technical specs, test cases)
• Mentor junior resources and drive best practices (for Lead roles)

Required Skills & Experience

• 1–2 years (Junior IM – Entry Level) OR 3–5 years (IM) OR 5–10+ years (BA/Developer/Lead) in Guidewire
• Hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter and/or ClaimCenter

• Strong understanding of P&C insurance domain (claims lifecycle, policy lifecycle, underwriting, billing)

Functional (BA):

• Requirements gathering, user stories, UAT, process modelling
• Stakeholder management and documentation

Technical (Developer / IM):

• Gosu, Java, SQL, XML, Guidewire Studio, PCF
• APIs (REST/SOAP), integrations, messaging, data migration

Junior IM (Additional Focus):

• Assist in configuration and cloud deployments
• Basic coding and integration understanding
• Strong learning attitude and analytical skills
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and tools like Jira / Azure DevOps
