IT Manager – Manufacturing Systems
Compensation: $90,000–$110,000 + Bonus + Relocation Assistance
Position Overview
A large-scale manufacturer of high-value metal products is seeking an experienced IT Manufacturing Manager to lead technology operations at its flagship North American facility. This role is responsible for managing mission-critical IT environments that support 24/7 production, ensuring operational stability, project success, and full compliance with industry regulations.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with deep knowledge of manufacturing systems, strong project management skills, and the ability to align IT solutions with business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations
- Direct and guide production support teams, project deployment teams, and offshore development teams.
- Maintain and oversee manufacturing applications and critical IT environments to ensure continuous plant operations.
- Partner closely with Finance, Engineering, Operations, and corporate IT leaders to align priorities.
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships, including contract resource onboarding.

- Deliver IT projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Lead strategic planning sessions with business stakeholders to prioritize initiatives.
- Own capital budgeting processes, including documentation, forecasts, and expense tracking.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, escalating issues as needed.
- Ensure compliance with SOX, ITAR, DFARS, and other regulatory requirements.

- SQL/PLSQL and database query tools (SQL Developer/SQL+).

- Familiarity with manufacturing IT systems (including HR-related modules such as overtime/attendance).
