GoIELTS.ai is an AI-powered IELTS preparation platform built for Arabic-speaking students across the GCC. We combine official Cambridge content, AI scoring, and a mobile-first experience to help students achieve their target band scores — and unlock the scholarships that change their lives.

We're growing fast, and we need a sharp, experienced Laravel developer to help us scale.

What You'll Be Working On

You'll be a core part of a small, high-output engineering team building the backend infrastructure that powers real-time AI evaluations, test delivery, user progress tracking, and subscription systems — all serving thousands of active students.

What We're Looking For

✅ 5+ years in web development, with 3+ years in Laravel

✅ PHP 8.3 and Laravel — production-level experience required

✅ PostgreSQL as primary database (not MySQL)

✅ Redis for caching and queue management

✅ RESTful API design and integration with third-party services

✅ AWS S3 for file and media storage

✅ Git workflow with branch-based collaboration

✅ Experience integrating webhook-based automation systems

✅ Comfortable using AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude, Copilot) as part of your daily workflow — this is non-negotiable for our team

✅ Bonus: experience with EdTech platforms or LMS products
