Experienced Steel Structures Engineer

D4S Greece is seeking for an experienced engineer, graduated from the Polytechnical School, to work at its office in Komotini.

D4S Greece is part of the Design4Structures, with its Head Office based in the UK. This role gives an opportunity to work for a growing company in the realms of digital design and detailing for structures on a local (UK) and international scale.

Requirements for the second role:

·        Experience in steel structures.

·        Five years’ experience desirable in TEKLA software with an essential minimum of 3 years.

·        Good time keeping

·        Be a reliable team member

·        Self-motivating

·        Good knowledge of AutoCAD

·        Excellent knowledge of verbal and written English

·        Fulfilled military obligations

Job description:

·        Creation of Tekla 3D models using the latest software and service releases

·        Detailing via Tekla model share liaising with D4S team.

·        Working with engineers/architects using design team drawings/information

·        Connection detailing to design engineer calculations

·        Creation/editing of general arrangement drawings in both 2D & 3D

·        Creation/editing of fabrication drawings and associated reports
