We are hiring a Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Specialist to manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns across our client ecosystem within our digital marketing agency (www.gaiada.com).
This is a full-time on-site position based in Ubud, Bali. You will work closely with the team to ensure search and performance marketing campaigns are properly executed and continuously optimized for results. Relocation to Ubud is required, as this role relies on daily collaboration with internal teams. Business hour is Mon-Fri, 9am to 6pm.
Your role is to plan, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across multiple digital platforms including Google Ads (primarily), Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, and other relevant channels. You will be responsible for campaign setup, keyword targeting, audience segmentation, budget allocation, bidding strategies, and continuous performance optimization.
You will work across multiple client accounts from different industries, helping improve traffic quality, lead generation, and overall marketing performance. Many of the brands we work with operate in competitive and premium market segments, so structured campaign strategy and precise execution are essential.
This role carries high responsibility. Paid advertising involves direct budget management, so your decisions directly impact client performance and results. You are expected to approach campaign management carefully, strategically, and with strong analytical thinking.
You will also be responsible for creating marketing proposals and media plans for clients. This includes determining the appropriate budget allocation, platform strategy, targeting structure, and campaign planning to ensure the right audience is reached and the campaign can perform effectively.

You will monitor campaign performance daily, analyze metrics, run A/B testing, and optimize campaigns to improve conversion rates and return on ad spend. Strong experience managing campaigns with high ROAS is essential, and you should be able to demonstrate past performance results through your portfolio. Please share your portfolio on your resume.
You will collaborate closely with the creative team by providing clear creative briefs for ad visuals, copy, and campaign concepts. A strong sense of creativity is needed to guide the development of ad creatives that perform well while maintaining brand consistency.
Understanding the luxury and premium market segment is important in this role. Many of our clients target high-value audiences, so you must understand how premium brands communicate, position their offers, and run campaigns that appeal to a luxury market audience. This shall be showed in the creative you produced together with the creative team.
We are looking for someone who understands paid media deeply, enjoys working with performance data, and is motivated to continuously improve campaign outcomes.
If you are confident managing advertising budgets, optimizing performance campaigns, and delivering measurable marketing results, with amazing report to shown to the client, this role is for you.
- Candidates must be fluent in English (spoken and written), as English is the primary working language within the team and with many of our clients.
- You should have proven experience managing paid advertising campaigns across multiple platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and TikTok Ads. Another ads platform like Bing ads is a plus.
- Experience creating campaign proposals and media planning strategies, including proper budget allocation and campaign structure, is required.
- Strong experience managing performance marketing campaigns with proven high ROAS results is mandatory. A portfolio or case studies demonstrating past campaign success is required.
- You should understand keyword research, audience targeting, bidding strategies, conversion tracking, and campaign optimization across multiple advertising platforms.
- Experience analyzing campaign performance, running A/B tests, and optimizing campaigns based on data is essential.
- You should have a strong sense of creativity to guide ad creative development and provide effective briefs to designers and content teams.
- Understanding of luxury and premium market audiences is important, as many of our clients operate in this segment.
- Familiarity with analytics and tracking tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and advertising platform analytics dashboards is highly preferred. Expertise in keyword research tools like SEMRush, Ahrefs, Moz and other similar platform is required. Knowledge on how to define target audience correctly is also mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and structured campaign management skills are required.
- You should be comfortable managing multiple client accounts simultaneously and coordinating with internal teams to improve campaign results. Expertise to use project management tools platform is required.
- Experience working with spreadsheets and reporting systems (Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Looker Studio) is important for campaign monitoring and reporting. This skills is required.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted marketing tools and automation platforms for campaign optimization will be considered a plus.
