VP of Products & Platform - Cybersecurity Enterprise Software

This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing the platform that underpins a suite of enterprise-grade cybersecurity products. You will define the technical vision, product strategy, and adoption roadmap for the core platform, ensuring it is robust, modular, and scalable to meet complex deployment requirements. The role combines hands-on leadership with strategic influence, balancing architecture, operational excellence, and customer needs. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams worldwide, guiding platform adoption and shaping the evolution of products used by highly security-conscious organizations. This position provides the opportunity to directly influence enterprise software delivery, drive platform-wide innovation, and ensure that every product built on top of the platform delivers exceptional performance, reliability, and customer trust.

Accountabilities

• Define and execute the technical vision for the core platform, including modular architecture, API extensibility, and multi-engine orchestration
• Lead product strategy for platform capabilities, supporting growing demands for file analysis, observability, and enterprise deployment
• Drive adoption of Enterprise Shared Services across multiple product teams, establishing consistent installation, configuration, policy, and identity frameworks
• Collaborate with product management and engineering peers globally to influence design decisions, resolve trade-offs, and accelerate platform adoption
• Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and operational excellence across on-prem, cloud, hybrid, and edge deployments
• Mentor and lead dedicated engineering teams while fostering cross-team collaboration and developer advocacy
• Establish metrics for adoption, performance, and impact, using data to inform strategic decisions and roadmap prioritization
  
  

Requirements

• 15+ years in platform engineering, developer platforms, or infrastructure product management, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles
• Deep experience with enterprise software deployment across on-premises, air-gapped, cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), and containerized environments
• Proven ability to define and implement platform strategies that earn adoption from internal product teams
• Strong technical fluency in Kubernetes, containerization, IaaS, multi-tenancy, RBAC, SSO/SAML/OIDC, observability, and zero-downtime upgrades
• Hands-on leadership style, contributing to architecture, trade-off decisions, and product specifications
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to align executives, product managers, and engineering leads
• Metrics-driven mindset with experience defining KPIs, adoption goals, and performance benchmarks for platform success
• Preferred: background in cybersecurity, critical infrastructure, or large-scale file processing/data pipeline products
