Job Description


We are looking for an experienced and people-oriented HR Specialist (banking sector) to support our growing international team in Cyprus. In this role, you will work across a broad range of HR functions — from administrative tasks to people processes — helping us build a supportive, compliant and engaging environment for our team members.



Scorewarrior is a game developer and publisher based in Limassol, Cyprus. The company focuses on the 4X strategy genre, with an ambitious goal to grow its hit game, Total Battle, to become the #1 strategy game in the world, and this role is key to achieving this. Our team consists of 200+ passionate, talented, self-driven, and continually developing professionals who love making high-quality games.



Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and collecting a full set of documents required to open accounts (credit/debit cards) in Cypriot banks
  • Reviewing employees’ documents for accuracy and compliance with bank requirements
  • Supporting employees throughout all stages of the account opening and renewing process
  • Communicating with banks and their representatives (via email, phone, and in person)
  • Maintaining internal reporting and updating case statuses
  • Accompanying employees to the bank when necessary
  • Assisting with property insurance arrangements
  • Supporting employees with real estate purchase transactions
  • Assisting with loan and mortgage applications
  • Monitoring all relevant updates and changes, and preparing the required documentation.



The candidate must have knowledge of:

  • Bank requirements for opening bank accounts for foreign employees.
  • Bank KYC and annual data update requirements.
  • Bank requirements and procedures for obtaining mortgages.
  • Basic loan conditions (interest rates, terms, debt-to-income considerations, required documentation).
  • Bank requirements for consumer loans and car loans.
  • Insurance requirements related to loans (property, life, and health insurance).
  • Basic understanding of trust programs and bank pension savings programs.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Banking sector.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Hands-on experience with:

Google Spreadsheets;

task management tools (Master Task, AirTable, Asana, or similar);

knowledge bases (Notion, Confluence).

  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of the banking system in Cyprus (previous experience in banking will be a strong advantage)
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work with confidential information
  • Responsibility and punctuality
  • Confidence when interacting with employees from different departments and cultural backgrounds
  • Highly organized and structured approach to tasks and deadlines, ability to maintain clear documentation and process tracking
