Pay Range: $63.00 – $70.00 per hour (based on experience and internal equity)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior BI Developer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise reporting and analytics solutions across large-scale data environments.

This role focuses on building high-performance dashboards and reporting systems using Power BI, SAP BusinessObjects, and advanced SQL, supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

BI Development & Reporting

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise BI reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions

• Build advanced dashboards and data models using Power BI (DAX, performance optimization)

• Develop and maintain reporting solutions using SAP BusinessObjects

Data Analysis & SQL Development

• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimized data retrieval logic

• Perform backend data analysis across SQL Server, DB2, and Amazon Redshift

• Design datasets, semantic layers, and data models for reporting tools

Performance Optimization & Data Quality

Optimize database queries and reporting performance for large-scale analytics workloads

Troubleshoot reporting issues, data discrepancies, and performance bottlenecks

Implement data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure reporting accuracy

Collaboration & Support

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements

Work with Data Engineering and Architecture teams to align reporting solutions with enterprise data platforms

Support production BI environments and resolve reporting-related incidents

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence development and data analytics

• Expert-level experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboard design, optimization)

• Strong experience with SAP BusinessObjects reporting tools

• Advanced SQL development skills including complex queries, joins, and data transformations

• Experience writing stored procedures and performance-tuned SQL code

• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, DB2, and Amazon Redshift

• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling

• Experience troubleshooting and optimizing slow-running reports

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in large enterprise environments

• 3+ years of Big 4 consulting experience

• Stable work history within enterprise organizations
