About the Role

As a Staff Frontend Engineer at DualEntry, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining high-performance, scalable web applications that deliver seamless user experiences. You will have full ownership of major components of the product UI, primarily utilizing React and Next.js, to create intuitive and interactive workflows that simplify complex processes. Your responsibilities will include designing optimized user interfaces, collaborating closely with product, design, and backend teams to ensure cohesive integration, and helping define the frontend system and component library as the product scales. This role demands a hands-on approach, with an emphasis on deploying daily, making quick, informed decisions, and pushing for excellence. You will be instrumental in elevating the quality of the product through thoughtful attention to detail and innovative solutions. This is an intense, fast-paced environment where your contributions will directly impact the company's growth and success.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in frontend development, especially with React; Next.js experience is a strong plus
• Proven expertise in building responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces
• Experience with API development and testing, including familiarity with HTTP, Postman, and debugging tools
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and attention to design details
• Pragmatic mindset with the ability to move quickly and make decisions efficiently
• Curiosity and autonomy to learn new frameworks, solve problems independently, and adapt to changing priorities

Responsibilities

• Build, ship, and own key parts of the product UI utilizing React and Next.js
