Bilingual Mandarin/English QA Engineer

A semiconductor company is seeking a Bilingual Mandarin/English QA Engineer to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. This position is responsible for auditing, customer interfacing, quality reports, and working with internal and external stakeholders. A bachelor’s in chemical engineering, materials science, physics or relevant field, 2 years of QA experience, knowledge of statistical techniques such as Statistical Process Control for manufacturing process improvement and JMP application for data analysis, and the ability to speak, read, and write Mandarin are required. This is a full-time, in-person, exempt position with excellent benefits and 401K. [Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm]. They can support some relocation fee. **This position does not sponsor VISA.***

Bilingual Mandarin/English QA Engineer Duties:

-Adherence to corporate, State and Federal regulations and guidelines when handling hazardous materials

-Must adhere to departmental and corporate standard operating procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

-Prepares internal and external documents.

-Interface to customer for quality related items and customer audits.

-Investigation of quality problems and thereafter, implementation and verification of corrective action with focus on the prevention of reoccurrence through follow-up.

-Investigation of, and response to, quality problems that occur from a customer complaint.

-Support Failure Mode and Effect Analysis as needed.

-Support production improvements by utilizing SPC techniques and tools such as JMP.

-Improve the manufacturing processes to reduce manufacturing costs, improve quality and promote safety.

-Pursue activities for continuous improvement related to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001

-Periodical product quality check through internal process audit and external supplier audit.

-Align and understand the global quality policy to ensure consistency.

Bilingual Mandarin/English QA Engineer Skills

-Must have a bachelor’s in chemical engineering, materials science, physics or relevant field

-Must have 2 years of QA experience

-Must be able to speak, read, and write Mandarin

-Must have knowledge of statistical techniques such as Statistical Process Control for manufacturing process improvement and JMP application for data analysis

-Knowledge of measurement precision / capability analysis techniques such as gauge R&R

-Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
