Introduction

Fab1 FEoL Reliability team is a multinational team located in Dresden/Germany, with members from various places of the world with experience in state of the art reliability methodologies, technology qualification & product reliability monitoring.

Your Job

Responsibilities

To strengthen team we are seeking for a Junior FEoL Reliability Engineer. You will be responsible for reliability methodology topics and will be working in an interdisciplinary team. Your detailed job responsibilities include:

  • Perform package-level and wafer-level reliability characterization experiments (FEoL-TDDB, HCI, NBTI & GOI) to support existing and new technology development/qualification in accordance with JEDEC and related industry standards.
  • Assess and analyze experimental results, carry out lifetime projections, drive failure analysis and potential process improvements.
  • Reliability risk assessments and risk mitigation evaluation and reporting for internal and external customers.
  • Collaborate with global reliability, integration, process & module teams as well as with external partners to ensure solid reliability performance.
  • Design reliability test structures and develop state of the art reliability measurement methodology.
  • Implement proper documentation to ensure reliability test operations and support the process reliability monitoring (PRM) by conducting fast wafer level reliability measurements (fWLR) for new qualified technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master/Diploma in Physics, Material Science, Electrical engineering, Microtechnology or cognate disciplines.
  • Good knowledge in statistical methodology & project management.
  • Familiar with the MS Office package, Experience with statistical analysis tools (Origin, Minitab) & programing skills (VBA, Python, R) is a plus.
  • Good organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities.
  • Good team player in multicultural environment with excellent social skills.
  • Fluent English language (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in Physics, Material Science, Electrical engineering, Microtechnology or cognate disciplines is preferred.
  • Fluent in German is a plus.
