Job Description


NHS Forth Valley Digital eHealth team require a highly motivated and experienced Generic Systems Administrator to work with our new GP Clinical Systems organising, co-ordinating and managing the configuration and development of the systems as well as providing users with ongoing support and advice.

In addition, you will provide reports and statistics for clinicians, senior staff and external organisations. You will also provide an auditing role on user access to the GP Clinical System.

You will demonstrate excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of user abilities, be able to work on your own as well as contribute to the project teams and liaise with both clinical and non-clinical staff at all levels.

Educated to Degree level or experienced in a related field of work, you should have demonstrable experience in the use of IT. Knowledge of eHealth clinical systems, such as GP Patient Management Systems used in the NHS, would be desirable.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
