Vetting Analyst – Contract – Remote (UK Based)
Start Date: ASAP
Daily Rate: £140 per day – Inside IR35 via Rockford Payroll
Location: Fully Remote (UK based candidates only)
Working Hours: Full-time, 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
About The Role
We are expanding our team and seeking experienced Vetting Analyst to support the onboarding and vetting function for contractors joining projects across the UK. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in conducting comprehensive vetting checks and onboarding processes, as detailed in their CV.
Role Overview
The Vetting Analyst will be responsible for managing the end-to-end onboarding process of new contractors, ensuring all compliance and security checks are completed accurately and efficiently. This role requires close collaboration with recruitment teams and external partners to maintain high standards of vetting and onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Onboarding new starters by accurately inputting candidate details into internal systems.
- Initiating and managing comprehensive vetting checks, including BPSS, DBS, credit checks, and financial probity assessments.
- Collaborating with Experian and other third-party providers to facilitate credit and background checks.
- Collecting and verifying employment references and other relevant documentation.
- Coordinating pre-employment checks to ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
- Managing contract extensions, transfers, and leaver processes efficiently.
- Escalating any issues or anticipated delays in the onboarding process to the relevant recruitment teams promptly.

- Proven experience in a vetting or onboarding analyst role, with demonstrable knowledge of BPSS, DBS, credit checks, and working with credit reference agencies such as Experian.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and goal-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing business demands and priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
