Job Description


Must be willing to work on w2. (only USC, GC OR TN)

Duration: Long Term Contract โ€“ Will Convert Full-time, No time limit on the conversion

Location: 100% remote on contract side โ€“ But when converting to full-time, needs to be able to go on-site hybrid at the target locations below.

While on contract this position will be 100% remote. If/When the resource converts it will move to hybrid.

Resource has to sit in one of the below locations.

  • Sarasota, FL
  • Tempe, AZ
  • Phoenix, AZ

Top Skills' Details

Network Engineering - 7+ years as a Data Network Engineer working with the Cisco product suite. Must have 5-7 years experience with Networking, Switches, Routers, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, QoS, BGP, OSPF, MPLS

2) F5 Load Balancing - Candidate must have 3-5+ years of experience working with Load Balancers. Must be familiar with LTM and GTM. Must have implemented and supported Pools, Virtual Servers, Health Monitors and have globally load balanced apps or services.

Qualified candidates must have enterprise level experience with Cisco's/Aristas suite of products. The biggest need for this position is someone that can support their F5 environment. They will be spending 80% of their time with F5 and the other 20 with Network BAU.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and support Layer 2/Layer 3 network solutions across data center and campus environments.
  • Configure and maintain Cisco and Arista routing and switching platforms, including: OSPF, BGP, and EVPN/VXLAN
  • Spanning Tree, MLAG, portโ€‘channeling, QoS, ACLs
  • Manage and optimize F5 BIGโ€‘IP platforms (LTM, GTM/DNS, ASM preferred).
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform rootโ€‘cause analysis for outages or degradation.
  • Implement network security best practices, including segmentation, firewall policies, and access control.
  • Participate in onโ€‘call rotation and provide escalation support for critical incidents.
  • Collaborate with crossโ€‘functional teams (security, systems, cloud, application teams) to support business initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and configuration standards.
  • Assist with automation and scripting efforts (Python, Ansible, or similar) to improve operational efficiency.
