Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI and SQL to support data-driven decision-making. This role will focus on building scalable reporting solutions, developing dashboards, and delivering actionable insights to business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reporting solutions
- Develop and maintain data models, relationships, and calculated measures (DAX) in Power BI
- Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Perform data validation and troubleshoot data discrepancies
- Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requests
- Document data sources, definitions, and reporting processes

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, or related field
- 3–6+ years of experience in a BI/Data Analyst role
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visualization)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions, query optimization)
- Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Power BI Service (publishing, workspace management, data refresh, security)
- Knowledge of ETL processes and tools (SSIS, Azure Data Factory, etc.)
- Experience with Azure or other cloud data platforms
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (star/snowflake schema)
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python (nice to have)
