Lead Android Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Lead Android Engineer to drive the development and innovation of Android applications while leading a talented team of engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Android engineers to deliver high-quality applications
• Oversee the implementation of modular, scalable, and efficient code
• Architect and ensure adherence to MVVM or CLEAN design principles for maintainable codebases
• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to define app requirements and features
• Utilize Kotlin and Jetpack Compose to develop and enhance application functionality
• Apply Dependency Injection for optimizing application structure and testing
• Implement Reactive Programming methods such as RxJava or coroutines for managing complex tasks
• Ensure user-friendly interfaces following Material Design guidelines
• Perform code reviews to maintain high development standards and best practices
• Troubleshoot complex issues and optimize application performance
• Communicate effectively and align team efforts with project and organizational goals

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Android development with 2+ years in a lead role
• Expertise in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Dependency Injection
• Understanding of MVVM and CLEAN architectural patterns
• Proficiency in Reactive Programming, including RxJava or coroutines
• Knowledge of Material Design guidelines and their application in UI/UX
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical challenges
• Competency in guiding teams and delivering high-impact projects
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with professional-level English (B2 or higher)
