Social Media Designer

About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing high-quality visual content across traditional, social and digital platforms.

This role requires a strong understanding of platform-specific design requirements, brand consistency, and the ability to translate creative concepts into engaging, visually compelling social content. The position involves close collaboration with Creative, Social Media, and Account teams to ensure all deliverables align with client objectives and brand standards.

What you’ll do

• Bring campaign concepts to life with social-first visuals, both static and motion.
• Develop innovative content ideas for always-on and campaign-driven social media.
• Create platform-specific designs while keeping the brand consistent.
• Produce short-form videos, Reels, Stories, and basic motion graphics.
• Work with motion tools like After Effects, Premiere, or Jitter.

• Use AI tools to explore ideas, layouts, and accelerate asset creation.
• Collaborate closely with Copywriters, Social Media Managers, and Art Directors.
• Present clear and visually structured work, explaining your design choices.
• Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and high-volume content efficiently.
• Keep files and assets organized for smooth handover to production teams.

• Solid understanding of typography, layout, and composition.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an advertising agency environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating social media and digital design work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Working knowledge of motion design tools (After Effects, Premiere, Jitter or similar).
• Familiarity with Figma is considered an asset.
• Experience using AI-assisted design tools.
