Job Description
Grid Dynamics, a global software services company driving enterprise-level digital transformation solutions for Fortune 1000 corporations, is looking for a React Native developer. Please note that this opportunity is open to contractors (B2B only) based in Portugal. The position is fully remote.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web and mobile applications using React, React Native, and TypeScript.
- Build and maintain front-end architecture and integrate applications with REST APIs, GraphQL, and AWS-based services.
- Manage the build and distribution of React Native applications for iOS and Android (Expo EAS or native pipelines).
- Ensure high engineering standards through testing, code reviews, and clean architecture.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimations, and retrospectives.
- Monitor and optimize application performance, reliability, and usability.
- Support the migration from legacy workflows to a React + React Native + AWS ecosystem.

- 3+ years of experience in React and React Native development.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience integrating and consuming REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience building and distributing React Native apps for iOS and Android (Expo EAS or native).
- Basic experience with Node.js and backend collaboration.
- Familiarity with AWS or cloud-based frontend deployments (e.g., S3, CloudFront, Lambda, API Gateway).
- Experience with GitHub and modern CI/CD workflows.
- Ability to work effectively in Agile teams and communicate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Basic experience with Node.js fundamentals (routing, API consumption, server-side logic)
- Basic understanding of Salesforce or other CRM systems
