Job Description

We’re a NYC-based digital agency with a global team of over 300, shaping the future of digital experiences for 20 years. Our clients span Media & Entertainment, Retail, Finance, Healthcare, Ticketing, and beyond—each trusting us to push boundaries, challenge the expected, and deliver results that matter.

At Halo, we believe real impact comes from real connections. We forge deep partnerships with our clients so they can do the same with their audiences. Our work blends data-driven strategy with boundary-pushing creativity—spanning digital marketing, product strategy, UI/UX, art direction, and full-stack development.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Junior HubSpot Marketing Operations Specialist to partner with our Head of Marketing Strategy, spending roughly 75 % of your time inside HubSpot and related tools—migrating data, configuring workflows, fixing integrations, and maintaining clean dashboards—and the remaining 25 % supporting campaigns by building emails and landing pages, ensuring flawless tracking, and surfacing optimization ideas; if you have 1‑2 years’ martech experience, thrive on problem‑solving, and love spotting small tweaks that drive big results, you’ll sharpen your skills while making an immediate impact across our demand‑gen engines.

What You'll Do

  • Support CRM migrations, portal setups, and third‑party app integrations by handling data imports, field mapping, and basic configuration under senior guidance.
  • Build and test workflows, automation rules, forms, and tracking scripts to be sure everything fires correctly across the funnel.
  • Collect data, export platform reports, and organize findings for senior team members conducting full martech audits and gap analyses.
  • Maintain dashboards, update lifecycle stages, and run routine data‑quality checks (duplicate management, property clean‑up, list health).
  • Keep an eye on release notes, new integrations, and martech trends; surface relevant opportunities to the senior lead for consideration.
  • Propose small‑scale enhancements (e.g., workflow tweaks, new custom properties) that improve efficiency or reporting accuracy.
  • Participate in sprint or stand‑up meetings to provide status updates and gather requirements.

About You

  • You are an early‑career martech enthusiast. You have ~1‑2 years of hands‑on experience in marketing automation and marketing technologies and are excited to deepen that expertise every day.
  • You’re a detail‑oriented problem‑solver. You enjoy untangling data issues, tweaking workflows, and double‑checking that every UTM, field mapping, and email test renders perfectly.
  • You’re quick on the uptake. New platforms, last‑minute requests, or shifting priorities don’t rattle you—you adapt, learn, and keep projects moving.
  • You are a clear, concise communicator. Whether writing a Slack update, a short how‑to doc, or walking a team through a workflow, you make complex things sound simple.
  • You’re collaborative by nature. You like working side‑by‑side with senior teammates, developers, and content folks, asking smart questions and jumping in where help is needed.
  • You’re curious and creative. Release notes are your light reading; you’re always hunting for small improvements that make campaigns run smoother or reports read clearer.
  • You’re grounded and growth‑minded. You’re humble, approachable, and comfortable iterating—striving for quality work without letting perfection slow you down.
  • You have strong English communications skills.
