What You’ll Do

Product Leadership

• Own the full product lifecycle—from ideation to release and continuous improvement.

• Translate complex technical concepts (crypto, secure comms, trusted compute, etc.) into clear product requirements.
• Build and prioritise the product backlog with laser focus on value, customer needs, and business impact.
• Work closely with executive leadership to define product strategy and long-term direction.

Technical & Delivery Collaboration

• Partner with engineering teams (your old tribe!) to break down epics, refine user stories, and ensure technical feasibility.
• Drive sprint planning, review outcomes, and keep development fast, focused, and fun.
• Validate and refine product capabilities through user research, POCs, and early customer engagements.

Commercial & Market Insight

• Understand customer use cases in fintech, regulated industries, and security-sensitive environments.
• Monitor industry trends in cryptography, cyber defence, secure messaging, and digital trust.
• Help shape go-to-market strategy, pricing insights, and value narratives for the product suite.

What You Bring

• Software Engineering background (you’ve written code, not just whiteboarded it).
• Experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager delivering technical B2B products.
• FinTech experience — payments, trading systems, authentication, fraud, or regulated tech would be ideal.
• Exposure to cybersecurity or cryptographic products (HSMs, KMS, PKI, secure communications, tokenisation, secure storage, etc.).
• Ability to navigate complex tech conversations and still explain value to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong backlog management, requirements definition, and agile delivery expertise.
• Someone who enjoys building, improving, iterating — and occasionally wins arguments with engineers.

Nice-to-Have Superpowers

• Experience in enterprise security, cloud security, or compliance-heavy environments.
• Understanding of threat models, encryption standards, or zero-trust architectures.
• Previous experience in hyper-growth or scale-up environments.
• Comfort presenting to senior leadership or customers.
