We are working with a top-tier High Frequency Trading firm operating across global markets, building ultra-low latency systems that power large-scale trading strategies across various asset classes. They combine the engineering standards of leading HFT firms with a highly collaborative, tech-driven culture and are looking to hire a Senior Core Developer to focus on trading GUI development.

The Role

You’ll join a high-impact core engineering team, working closely with traders and quants to build mission-critical trading tools. This is a hands-on role with ownership across both desktop and web-based applications used in real-time trading environments.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Developing high-performance trading GUIs used directly by traders

• Building desktop applications using Qt (essential) and contributing to web-based interfaces
• Designing systems to capture and process high-volume, real-time trading data
• Building real-time position, risk, and alerting systems
• Developing internal tools supporting trading, analytics, and data pipelines

Tech Stack

• Python & C++ (core languages)
• Qt (essential) for desktop GUI development
• Web technologies for frontend interfaces

What They’re Looking For

• Strong experience in C++ and/or Python
• Proven expertise in Qt for desktop GUI development (essential)
• Experience building desktop applications + exposure to web app development
• Background in high-performance, low-latency, or real-time systems
