Senior Core Developer (GUI) โ High Frequency Trading
London (Hybrid)
We are working with a top-tier High Frequency Trading firm operating across global markets, building ultra-low latency systems that power large-scale trading strategies across various asset classes. They combine the engineering standards of leading HFT firms with a highly collaborative, tech-driven culture and are looking to hire a Senior Core Developer to focus on trading GUI development.
The Role
Youโll join a high-impact core engineering team, working closely with traders and quants to build mission-critical trading tools. This is a hands-on role with ownership across both desktop and web-based applications used in real-time trading environments.
What Youโll Be Working On
- Developing high-performance trading GUIs used directly by traders
- Building desktop applications using Qt (essential) and contributing to web-based interfaces
- Designing systems to capture and process high-volume, real-time trading data
- Building real-time position, risk, and alerting systems
- Developing internal tools supporting trading, analytics, and data pipelines

What Theyโre Looking For

- Experience in trading or finance is beneficial but not required
