Senior Digitalization Engineer for AI Command Center

📌 Job Description – Lead Digitalization Engineer

Location: Abu Dhabi

Duration: 6 Months

(If relocation is required, all accommodation and travel expenses will be covered by the client.)

🔷 General

We are looking for a resource specialized as a Lead Digitalization Engineer to be part of our project.

• Working Hours: 9 hours per day, 5 days per week (flexible to work Saturdays or holidays as required)
• Overtime: Paid for additional hours
• Workstations, laptops, and required software will be provided
• All overhead expenses will be covered by the organization, including travel, accommodation, food, and daily commute

🔷 Role Overview

The Lead Digitalization Engineer will be responsible for carrying out concept studies for the implementation of digitalization in a new Artificial Intelligence Command Centre (AI-CC).

The role involves designing and leading the implementation of scalable, highly available, and resilient systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The candidate will act as a bridge between stakeholders and technical teams by gathering requirements, developing architectural designs, and providing expert guidance.

This position requires strong technical expertise in digitalization solutions, IT/OT integration, project leadership, and a deep understanding of industrial workflows.

🔹 Architecture Development

• Develop data integration architecture and data flow diagrams aligned with business processes
• Develop:
• Solution & Application Architecture
• Infrastructure Architecture
• Network Architecture
• Security Architecture
• Define Digital Design Philosophy for AI Hub (data platform and governance)

🔹 Digital & AI Strategy

• Develop Digital & AI Technology Assessment Reports for:
• AI-enabled operator
• Smart alarm systems

• Evaluate existing digital solutions within the organization and ensure integration with the new facility

🔹 AI / Machine Learning Applications

• Identify and implement AI/ML-based use cases and applications
• Integrate relevant digital solutions into operational workflows

Design digital twin use cases including but not limited to:

• Predictive Maintenance
• Plant/Facilities Digital Twin (Visualization)
• Process Digital Twin
• Engineering & Projects

• Smart plant or industrial technologies (Oil & Gas preferred)
• Proven experience in concept development
• Strong knowledge of:
• Industry 4.0
• Industrial automation
• Edge computing
• IT/OT cybersecurity
• AI platforms
