Software Engineer - Protein Design and Engineering

Job Description

In this role, you will

• Develop, optimize and scale up pipelines and web applications across different areas of drug discovery and development
• Prototype, test and validate novel scientific solutions algorithms, machine learning models, applications, pipelines and dashboards, focused mainly on protein design and protein engineering
  
  

Required Experience And Skills

• Graduated (or pursuing) MSc or PhD degree in computer science, software engineering, bioinformatics, data science or related field with at least 2 years of experience in developing scientific applications in discovery or clinical development settings
• Excellent problem-solving skills and high professional standards with strong ability to prioritize
• Strong communication skills and ability to simplify and explain complex problems to data scientists and software engineers
• Excellent programming skills in Python, and familiarity with Linux/Unix, Docker, SQL and versioning control e.g. Git
• Solid knowledge and hands-on experience developing machine and deep learning models via Python (Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow etc)
• Experience with HPC, cloud computing (AWS) and distributed computing
