When a brand launches a campaign on our platform, offering free or heavily discounted products, every scheduled unit should sell.
The Marketplace Growth Marketing Manager owns the most important metric on our platform:
Daily Sell-Through Rate.
Your job is to ensure that every campaign scheduled on Brand Expand reaches maximum completion.
You will manage buyer demand, affiliate traffic, and campaign performance to ensure products consistently sell out.
This role combines data analysis, marketplace operations, and growth marketing to ensure the platform operates with strong demand liquidity.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9AM to 5PM EST
Key Responsibilities
Sell-Through Rate (STR) Ownership
• Own the daily STR metric for Brand Expand
• Monitor campaign performance in real time
• Identify campaigns at risk of underperforming
• Deploy strategies to ensure scheduled units sell out
Buyer Growth & Acquisition
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire new buyers across multiple channels (organic, paid, partnerships)
- Identify and test new acquisition channels (social, communities, affiliates, referrals)
- Optimize conversion funnels from traffic → signup → purchase
Buyer Engagement & Retention
- Design strategies to increase daily active users and repeat purchases
- Create incentives, gamification systems, or loyalty mechanics
- Improve user lifecycle (onboarding → activation → retention)

Content & Social Media Strategy
- Define and execute a content strategy to increase visibility and engagement
- Manage or oversee content across platforms (TikTok, Instagram, email, etc.)
- Leverage UGC (user-generated content) to drive trust and virality
Affiliate & Referral Programs
- Build and scale a B2C affiliate program
- Recruit creators, influencers, and partners to promote deals
- Design referral systems to incentivize user-driven growth
Demand Generation & Marketplace Balance
- Ensure consistent buyer demand to match deal supply
- Collaborate with internal teams to prioritize and position deals
- Identify opportunities to increase purchase intent (even at lower discounts)
Experimentation & Growth Initiatives
- Run A/B tests on offers, messaging, and campaigns
- Launch creative experiments to improve engagement and conversion
- Propose and execute new growth ideas continuously
Data Analysis & Reporting
• Build dashboards tracking STR and campaign performance
• Analyze buyer behavior using tools like Hotjar and GA4, Hotjar
• Generate insights to improve marketplace performance

Required Qualifications
Experience
• 3+ years in affiliate marketing, growth marketing, or marketplace operations
• Experience with user acquisition, retention, or community growth
• Experience working with eccomerce, marketplaces, or consumer platforms
Skills
• Strong understanding of growth funnels (acquisition → activation → retention)
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Knowledge in Google Analytics (GA4)
• Experience with affiliate and referral programs
• Excellent communication and project management skills
Nice to have
• Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) and ads.
• Experience with UGC or creator/influencer marketing
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
• Highly detail-oriented and results-driven
• Large accessible buyer network or group to leverageÂ
