Job Title

Veterinary Advisor Technical Product Support (TPS)

Reporting Line

Reports to Companion Animal Technical Team Lead.

Location

Home based, with travel to Head Office in Milton Keynes approximately 6–8 times per year and occasional additional travel for key meetings, training and events (which may include overnight stays and weekend work).

Role Purpose

Provide specialist veterinary expertise on the companion animal portfolio, supporting customers who contact the UK Vet Support team by phone, online form and email. The role focuses on technical product support, case handling and enquiries (including dermatology, diabetes, infectious disease, parasitology), with occasional training of the wider team. The post holder will liaise with Technical Strategic Leads, the Lead Field Vet Advisor (VA), Marketing and the National Sales Manager to share insights that shape technical materials, training and customer communications.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary technical contact for companion animal product enquiries, ensuring timely, accurate and compliant responses.
  • Handle and document technical queries and complaints in MAXX, working closely with Pharmacovigilance for adverse events and product quality complaints.
  • Maintain compliance with the National Office of Animal Health NOAH Code, pharmacovigilance requirements and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and support the Technical Product Support team in doing the same.
  • Contribute to and maintain the technical Knowledgebase, including FAQs and case learnings.
  • Analyse enquiry and case trends and share insights with Technical Strategic Leads, the Lead Field VA, Marketing and th National Sales Manager (NSM) to inform strategy, materials and communications.
  • Provide occasional technical training and onboarding support for the front-line TPS team and other internal stakeholders.
  • Represent the Company technically at selected meetings, congresses and events, and support NOAH compliance for relevant technical materials.
  • Explore and champion appropriate AI and digital tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency and consistency in servicing customer enquiries.

Your Profile

  • Member of the Royal College of Veterinary (MRCVS) with a valid UK driving licence.
  • Strong customer focus, clinical reasoning and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a home‑based role while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
