Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role as a Cyber Security Specialist at AmaraJet, based in Bengaluru with the option for partial remote work. The Cyber Security Specialist will be responsible for safeguarding the company's systems, networks, and data by implementing robust cybersecurity measures. Day-to-day tasks include managing application security, monitoring and strengthening network and information security, analyzing potential threats, responding to security incidents, and developing proactive strategies to mitigate risks. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Application Security and expertise in identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities in applications.
• Strong expertise in Cybersecurity and Network Security, with a focus on managing and securing organizational IT infrastructure.
• Competence in Information Security, including data protection, privacy measures, and compliance with security protocols.
• In-depth understanding of Cyber threat assessments, risk mitigation, and incident response management.

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or CEH are an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
• Practical experience with security tools, firewalls, and monitoring software.
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
