Full-Stack Rust Software Engineer

Location: Sunshine Coast, QLD, Australia


This is an opportunity for a high performing, product engineering and platform company who are expanding their team on the Sunshine Coast. They are looking for a Rust Software Engineer who enjoys shipping products that have real-world impact.

Responsibilities:

You’ll design, build, and optimise systems that deliver speed, leverage, and accuracy in a competitive environment.

  • Building and evolving full-stack software systems
  • Developing and maintaining internal platforms, tooling, and infrastructure
  • Owning problems end-to-end, from concept through to production#


This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys shipping, iterating, and continuously improving systems that matter.


Experience required:

The stack evolves with the problem. They currently utilise:


  • 3+ years building and shipping production software
  • Languages: Rust, Python, SQL
  • Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker
  • CI/CD & Tooling: GitHub, Buildkite
  • Workflow & Orchestration: Prefect
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems (or similar)
  • Strong ownership mindset - accountable for outcomes, not just tasks
