We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead to support the growth and delivery of a rapidly scaling health‑technology SaaS platform used across clinical and provider networks nationwide. This full-time, fully remote role is ideal for an engineering leader who combines hands‑on .NET expertise with team leadership experience, overseeing the development of solutions that drive patient engagement and improve healthcare outcomes. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Job Title: Technical Lead, .NET

Location: Remote (U.S.-based only)

Responsibilities

  • Lead a newly formed development team focused on building and scaling adherence‑driven software solutions that increase patient vaccination and engagement rates
  • Develop and maintain enterprise-grade applications using .NET/C# and MS SQL Server
  • Drive architectural decisions that prioritize scalability, performance, and quality
  • Cultivate a team culture centered on trust, collaboration, and engineering excellence
  • Ensure code quality through automated testing frameworks (e.g., MSTest, NUnit, XUnit)
  • Design solutions leveraging modern patterns and technologies, including:
  • ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core
  • Single-page applications (Angular, React)
  • Service bus or broker technology (RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus)
  • Inversion of Control (IoC)
  • Task scheduling frameworks (e.g., Quartz.NET)
  • Own solutions end-to-end — from initial technical design through production operation
  • Work with product and business stakeholders to understand domain requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
  • Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers, fostering growth and best practices
  • Implement and adhere to established information security protocols and report potential security risks as required

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience as a technical lead, engineering lead, or similar leadership capacity
  • 8+ years developing and maintaining enterprise-level applications in .NET
  • Deep experience building service-based applications using .NET/C# and MS SQL Server
  • Hands-on experience with SPA frameworks (Angular 2+, React) and API integrations
  • Experience designing applications using Microsoft Azure service bus/broker patterns
  • Familiarity with task scheduling, long‑running workflows, and balancing performance with transactional integrity
  • Strong problem solver with the ability to dive deep into domain workflows and business logic
  • Proven ability to own solutions across architecture, development, testing, deployment, and production stability
  • Passion for mentoring engineers and contributing to a craft‑driven engineering culture

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $140,000 - $150,000 + 5-10% Annual Bonus + 100% paid for Healthcare Premiums via Health Insurance (This client provides full premium coverage through their healthcare insurance plan)

Additional Information

  • Role is 100% remote within the United States — candidates may reside in any of the 50 U.S. states
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
