A technology-focused analytics team in Canada is looking for an Entry-Level Data Scientist interested in solving practical problems using data. This role focuses on developing analytical solutions, supporting machine learning initiatives, and transforming complex data into meaningful insights.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform exploratory data analysis on business and product datasets
  • Build and evaluate predictive models and statistical analyses
  • Prepare data pipelines and perform data cleaning tasks
  • Develop dashboards and reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Assist with A/B testing and experimentation analysis
  • Document analytical processes and model performance


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline
  • 0–2 years of experience in data science, analytics, internships, or academic projects
  • Strong programming skills in Python or R
  • Experience working with SQL databases
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques and statistical methods
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Plotly


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
