Job Title: Industrial Engineer
Job Description
This role involves designing, developing, and implementing enhancements for new and existing delivery station capacities. You will provide process expertise on engineering designs, including materials flow, labor placement, and site layouts. Collaboration with various teams such as Design Managers, CAD drafters, and Real Estate Transaction Managers is a key aspect of this position. You will also be responsible for implementing new design standards and facilitating cross-functional project reviews to enhance design solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and release for approval new delivery station designs and capacity improvements.
- Provide process expertise on engineering design, including material flow, labor placement, and physical building layouts.
- Collaborate with teams such as Design Managers, CAD drafters, and Pre-Construction architects.
- Implement new design standards in collaboration with Design, Safety, and Process Engineering teams.
- Lead new expansion, retrofit, and process improvement initiatives to support driver safety, quality, and productivity.
- Implement new template designs and safety processes into standard designs.
- Facilitate cross-functional project reviews to collaborate on design solutions.

- 5+ years of experience in design, construction, architecture, or topography
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role within industrial, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environments

- MBA or Master's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transportation
- Experience in designing and launching fulfillment, delivery, or sortation centers
- Knowledge of simulation or 3D modeling
- Experience collaborating with engineering, construction, and real estate managers
- Proficiency in design engineering tools such as MS Visio and Solidworks
- Process engineering and project management skills
- Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma, and other OE tools
- Advanced Excel skills, including look-ups and pivot tables
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
