Our client, a leading digital consultancy delivering user-centred digital services, is seeking a Lead Data Analyst to join its data and analytics practice.
This role involves working within multidisciplinary teams to develop and support digital solutions that provide actionable insights and measurable value to clients. The successful candidate will act as a senior consultant, providing technical expertise in data analysis, helping shape analytical strategy, and mentoring junior analysts.

Responsibilities
- Analyse large and complex datasets to produce actionable insights and recommendations.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical requirements.
- Identify opportunities to apply advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modelling and machine learning.
- Apply appropriate statistical methods and analytical frameworks when interpreting data.
- Work with both structured and unstructured datasets, including combining data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Perform data cleaning, preparation, and quality assessments to ensure accurate analysis.
- Use business intelligence tools to create data visualisations and interactive dashboards.

- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and mentoring of other analysts.

Requirements
Essential Experience
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, delivering insights through effective data exploration and analysis.
- Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment.
- Strong experience in data cleansing, modelling, and visualisation.
- Experience using business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with programming languages such as Python, R, Scala, or Julia.
- Experience working with large-scale data warehouses or data lakes.
- Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery), Snowflake, Spark, or Splunk.
- Experience with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience mentoring or supporting the development of junior analysts.
